A record 143 industry partners participated in the Ateneo 2017 Career Fair that started last February 27, 2017 at the Red Brick Road at Ateneo de Manila University’s Loyola Heights campus. The week-long fair aims to facilitate internships and employment opportuninites to AdMU’s students.
The sectors represented in the career fair include government, business, NGOs and the academe.
This will enable companies and institutions to have a database of potential interns, applicants and new hires via a paper-less system. With this system, students will find more time to inter-act and find out more about the industry participants.
Among the industry participants are three from Kickstart, the Venture Capital and Startup Incubator pioneer of the country.
Medix, a clinic management system that uses a cloud-based electronic medical records (EMR) system. This enables medical professionals to manage their clinics, patient records, appointments scheduling and even records of images of procedures done for their patients. This system is currently in use by hundreds of clients.
Kalibrr is another cloud-based platform that matches jobseekers with the right jobs that is pertinent to their skill sets. At the other end, Kalibrr helps companies with their employee/candidate searches by the use of its database for free and that includes job postings in its database.
Spiralytics implements marketing campaigns with the use of analytics, SEO and performance metrics that can help companies with their B2B marketing campaigns.
The Ateneo 2017 Career Fair is organized by Loyola Schools Office of Placement and Career Services in cooperation with SMART & PLDT.
