BACOLOD CITY– A new startup company which is the first eCommerce enabler company in the Visayas and Mindanao was recently launched in Bacolod City.
Bacolod City-based Vijaya Merchants Solutions Inc., an SEC-registered corporation, is the first eCommerce enabler company that will serve Visayas and Mindanao business enterprises.
An eCommerce enabler assists businesses in promoting and selling their products and brands at online marketplaces such as Lazada and Shopee by providing end-to-end e-commerce services, including building their online stores and managing it.
Elena Pineda Gatanela, a director and chief administrative officer of Vijaya from Bacolod, said that many small- and medium-scale enterprises and businesses in Visayas and Mindanao, like those in Bacolod and Negros Occidental, have no direct contacts with eCommerce platforms in Metro Manila, which constitutes 60% of the online market.
Gatanela, who is also a certified digital marketer, added that with the existence of Vijaya, small and medium enterprises need no longer go to Metro Manila as Vijaya can provide a direct link to the country’s top eCommerce platforms.
At present, Vijaya is enjoying a solid portfolio of business tie-ups with companies as Aldrtz Corporation, Fresh Start Organic, Azatre, and Tumandok, all from Bacolod; Maturan Pili Candies from Allen, Northern Samar; and AL DI Foods from Iloilo concurrent to formalizing contracts with many others.
